Guided Tours in the Abbey of Val-Dieu

The Abbey of Val Dieu and its brewery have a very long history and are famous for the beauty of their buildings.  We could of course describe these buildings but it would be more interesting for you to discover them through a guided tour.  During the whole year, guided tours of the Abbey, and the brewery are organized.

COVID SAFE TICKET: from 1 November 2021, the Covid Safe Ticket will be mandatory for all our guided tours from the age of 16. It will be checked in front of the entrance to the abbey shop, in the courtyard, before the tour starts.

Guided tours in English can be booked for groups in 2021 :

Guided tour of the abbey (1h) 6€ p.p.

Guided tour of the brewery with tasting of two beers and cheese (1h15) 7€ p.p.

Guided tour of the abbey and brewery (2h15) 12€ p.p.

Only on reservation via infotourist@val-dieu.net

Alcoholic beverages served during the visit of the brewery are only served to people older than 18 years old.
Of course, the disabled visitors are welcome on the site of the Abbey of Val Dieu.  Unfortunately, the guided tours of the Abbey and of the Abbey castle/guest house are not suitable for wheelchairs.

The yard, the Basilica and the park are accessible all year for free.
