Guided Tours in the Abbey of Val-Dieu

The Abbey of Val Dieu and its brewery have a very long history and are famous for the beauty of their buildings.  We could of course describe these buildings but it would be more interesting for you to discover them through a guided tour.  During the whole year, guided tours of the Abbey, the “castle” of the Abbey and the brewery are organized.

Regular guided tours are oraganized in French – no booking needed :
– Saturday : 1.30pm
Adult : 6€.

Guided tours in English can be booked for groups  :

Visit of the Abbey (duration: 1 hour) :
Adult : 6 €/person – Flat rate of 90€ for groups of less than 15 persons
Child 12 and under : FREE with a paying adult
Schools : 3 €/visitor.

Visit of the “Abbey castle/guest house” (duration : 1 hour) :
Adult : 6 € – Flat rate of 90€ for groups of less than 15 persons
Child 12 and under : FREE with a paying adult.
Schools : 3 €/visitor.

Visit of the brewery including beer tasting (duration : 1.15 hour) :
Adult : 7€ – Flat rate of 100€ for groups of less than 15 persons
Child 12 and under : FREE with a paying adult.
Schools : 4 €/student – no alcohol.

Visit of the Abbey and the brewery including beer tasting (duration : 2.15 hours):
Adult : 12€ – Flat rate of 165€ for groups of less than 15 persons
Child 12 and under : FREE with a paying adult.
Schools : 7 €/student – no alcohol.

Alcoholic beverages served during the visit of the brewery are only served to people older than 18 years old.
Of course, the disabled visitors are welcome on the site of the Abbey of Val Dieu.  Unfortunately, the guided tours of the Abbey and of the Abbey castle/guest house are not suitable for wheelchairs.

The yard, the Basilica and the park are accessible all year for free.
